The Inverted Serenade — a series where sound is made visible as silence, and presence is rendered through the architecture of its own disappearance.
Echoes in the Void: The Inverted Serenade constructs images from a sustained paradox — the attempt to give visual form to something that is, by definition, defined by absence. Each composition in the series references the visual grammar of radio astronomy and experimental sound: interference patterns, signal degradation, the frequency boundaries at which a transmission becomes indistinguishable from noise. The figures in these images are not disappearing — they are being converted. The series asks whether an illustration can communicate something that cannot be seen, and answers the question by making the attempt seriously, across multiple compositions, without resolution.
